Very healthy plants, a beautiful and tidy garden
Plantex Gold 125 g/m² is a mulching fabric that lets a large amount of water (60 litres/m² per second) and fertilizer through but that blocks weeds! It lets the soil retain moisture and warmth while letting it breathe, thus ensuring a healthier soil for plants and a higher survival rate.
No chemical products
Plantex Gold is a thick non-woven Polypropylene weed control barrier for long lasting weed control even against tough weeds such as couch grass, bindweed… and this even WITHOUT pesticides! This brown and black fabric allows air, water and nutrients to pass through, lets the soil and plant roots breathe and prosper while keeping the weed seeds under the fabric.
Plantex Gold, when properly fixed to a slope, will not slip even in case of heavy rain or strong winds and thus prevents soil erosion. On the banks of ponds, degradation of organic components, such as bark or coconut matting alters pond water causing the formation of algae. Plantex Gold does not release any organic material into the water and protects the sealing tarpaulin. Thanks to its unique structure, the fabric does not fray, it can be cut easily and makes Plantex Gold a suitable product for hydroponics or nurseries.
